Fused Glass, Blown Glass, Beautiful Glass
Ridgecrest Log Cabin and Chalet Rentals has what The Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Community needs; beautiful and affordable cabins close to beautiful scenery and art. The Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts community is not in downtown Gatlinburg but rather about three miles outside of Gatlinburg. The community consists of over 100 craft shops, studios and galleries including several artists that work with stained glass to create glass art. Most shops are open daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Hills Creek is the pride of the Hills Family. Founded in 1991 with the intention of sharing their craft so other families could take home a piece that the Hills equally enjoy. During a visit to Hills Creek, you may just get a chance to see artist J. Hills create one of kind glass pendants, marbles and sculptures with nothing but a torch and rods of solid glass. Visit online for insight into the Hills’ passion, read comments on Facebook page and plan to visit their shop in the Covered Bridge Village. Watching the artist make your souvenir art piece is a spectacular way to remember your vacation!
