August is a special month for businesses in Pigeon Forge to welcome military personnel and first responders with additional military savings!
Active and retired military personnel, police, firefighters, paramedics and other first responders are invited to stop by the Pigeon Forge Welcome Center at traffic light #0 to present valid ID and pick up a Celebrate Freedom!™ benefits card. This card is valid throughout the entire month at participating businesses.

If you’re in the area on Saturday, August 19th, everyone is invited to salute America’s military veterans at The Veterans Homecoming Parade kicking off at 9 a.m. The parade will proceed along the Parkway beginning at traffic light #8 (Dollywood Lane) and ending at traffic light #5 (Walgreen’s / Jake Thomas Road). Arrive early — and bring a chair if you’d like — and wave and cheer participating veterans and veteran organizations. They so appreciate your support!
After the parade, head over to Country Tonite Theatre for a free, afternoon concert with our very own patriot singer/songwriter James Rogers at 1 p.m. Visit James Rogers Online to take a listen to “I Guard America” or “Fly Eagle Fly.”
