The Gatlinburg Parade
Gatlinburg is famous for holding the first 4th of July parade in the nation as it kicks off promptly at 12 a.m.  (Or let’s say 11:59 p.m. on July 3rd just so you don’t miss it!)  Downtown Gatlinburg welcomes thousands of visitors each year, all who gather along the strip for a grand celebration.  Arrive early and choose your spot or set out a chair to take in the 38th Annual Midnight Parade!

This year, the Parade’s Grand Marshal’s will be Women Veterans and other US Heroes.  Also featured will be the 572nd US Air Force Band, members of the US Army, US Navy, US Marines, US Air Force, US Coast Guard and vintage military vehicles.

The 4th of July Midnight Parade starts at traffic light #1a on East Parkway, turns onto the strip at traffic light #3 and extends all the way through town to traffic light #10 at Ski Mountain Road.

4th of July Fireworks
Following the popular and free River Raft Regatta and free concerts downtown, is a fireworks display that lights up the night!  Beginning at 10 p.m., Gatlinburg puts on a fantastic fire works show that is centered above the traffic light #3 area so that it can be seen from nearly anywhere in the downtown area.

Pigeon Forge 23rd Annual July 4th Patriot Festival
Gather at Patriot Park near the Old Mill with your blankets and lawn chairs for a hometown 4th of July festival that lasts all day long!  Beginning at noon, there will lots of fun activities for kids and plenty of food.  Entertainment begins at 1:30 p.m. and will feature the Eagle’s tribute band, Hotel California.  The evening headlining performers are Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers who will entertain until the fireworks begin!  At approximately 9:45 p.m., Pigeon Forge will fill the sky with a booming display synchronized to music.  Click here to view or print the Patriot Festival flyer.

Plan to park at the Pigeon Forge Municipal Parking Lot on Teaster Lane for free parking and free shuttle rides to this not be missed 4th of July Festival.
