“Highlighting Fine Dining”

There are lots of fantastic restaurants in Gatlinburg TN—with new ones opening all the time—but who has the time to try them all?  There’s a wonderful opportunity to sample signature beverages and fine dining fare from over 20 area restaurants and wineries and that’s at the 2013 United Way Sevier Campaign’s 16th Annual Taste of Autumn.  This annual affair takes place at the Gatlinburg Convention Center on Tuesday, October 29, from 5 – 8 p.m.

“Fine Dining” highlights this year’s event.  Come enjoy unlimited sampling of the specialty dishes and local wines from over 20 area restaurants and caterers.  To give you an idea of what you may find on the Taste of Autumn menu, past participants have included Smoky Mountain Brewery, Smoky Mountain Winery and Sugarland Cellars, Calhoun’s and Calhoun’s Catering, Cherokee Grill, Coca-Cola, The Fox and Parrot Tavern, Gigi’s Cupcakes, Hard Rock Café, Mellow Mushroom, Park Grill Steakhouse, The Park Vista, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Buckberry Lodge and others.  Please your palate with an aperitif wine and appetizers before tasting a variety of entrée’s, salads and desserts.  It’s a fine food extravaganza!  To aid in your digestive pleasure, live music will accompany your meal.

2013 Taste of Autumn in the Smokies

October 29 • 5 – 8 p.m.

Tickets are $25 per person for ages 7 and older, free for children ages 6 and under.  100% of the proceeds from the Taste of Autumn, with no deduction for overhead, goes to the United Way of Sevier County who’s focus is creating lasting changes in community conditions as a way to improving lives.  Tickets may be purchased by calling the Sevier County United Way office at (865) 430-5727.  Reserve your autumn getaway at Ridgecrest Log Cabin and Chalet Rentals and you won’t be far from the Gatlinburg Convention Center, located downtown at 234 Historic Nature Trail.  Attending this event could be the start of a romantic night out in Gatlinburg!
